Academic ambassadors or known as the SIGMA club are selected among outstanding students to be mentors to their peers in improving academic performance. In addition, connecting UMK with external parties, especially parents and prospective students who will continue their studies at UMK.
The selection of student ambassadors are among students who excel in academics and also non-academics. Students with a CGPA of 3.7 or above are given priority to be appointed as student ambassadors. A total of 27 UMK Student Ambassadors were selected through an interview process and those who succeeded were appointed with effect from 1 July 2023.
