Lee Yee is currently the Director of the School of Life Skills and Communication (LSC) at Singapore Polytechnic (SP). Prior to her current role that is more administrative in nature, Lee Yee spent 16 enriching years teaching and learning with young and adults learners locally and in the ASEAN region.
Lee Yee has taught modules/courses that ranged from critical and creative thinking, communication and interpersonal skills, digital literacy to global and current affairs in SP and MOE schools. She was awarded SP’s Excellence in Teaching Award in 2006, Journal of Teaching Practice in 2011, 2013 and 2020, and presented her research in applied learning at the ISATE conferences in Singapore and Japan.
When she can afford the luxury of time, Lee Yee enjoys conversations with her students, jogging with her sons, serendipitous travels, scouring social media for interesting content and hibernating with a few good books and kopi-O kosong in hand.
I love challenge and strongly believe in giving the best in ALL the things that I do. I love working in an environment where I can be creative and able to expand my knowledge, skill and experience.
